Ryan Scott Welch, 52, of Susanville, CA passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2024.

Ryan was born on February 23, 1972 in Council Bluffs, IA. He grew up in Quincy, CA and attended Quincy Junior-Senior High School. After graduation, he worked as a mechanic at Willits Motors.

Ryan enjoyed football and was a loyal 49ers fan. He also enjoyed fishing, metal detecting and gold mining.

He loved his canine companion Rex and was devastated by his passing last year.

Ryan is preceded in death by his stepmother Kay Welch and his stepfather Rich Brown,

Ryan is survived by his father James Welch, his mother Barbara Brown, brother Ron Welch (Liz), sister Laura Fisher (Ken), and sister Lisa Woodward. He is also survived by three nieces, four nephews, and two great-nephews.
