Obituary For Cathryn Ann Farmer
IN LOVING MEMORY OF CATHRYN ANN FARMER
November 1 , 1945- June 5, 2026
Cathryn Ann Farmer passed away peacefully at her home in Eagle Lake , CA, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, and adventures.
Born in Modesto, California, she was raised in the rural Stockton and Linden area and graduated from Linden High School. She was preceded in death by her parents Marjorie and Clarence
"Shorty" Wetzel, whose family roots included the Cartwright / Fine's on Marjorie's side and the Wetzel family of Lodi on her father Clarence's side. She was also preceded in death by her older brother, Dennis Wetzel.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Harold "Hal"
Farmer ; her daughter, Kori Lynn Mullany; stepdaughters Kelly Pacheco and Dana Farmer; her younger brother, Larry Wetzel, and sister-in-law, Terri Wetzel; six grandchildren; four nieces and a nephew; and extended family and friends.
Many of her happiest years were spent with Hal in Twain Harte and Sonora, where together they owned and operated Circle B Bar and Coach & Cats Pizza. They shared a love of softball, baseball, fishing,
the outdoors, and the friendships they built within their community.
Their adventures later took them to Vermont and Connecticut before ultimately returning to California and settling at Eagle Lake, a place they dearly loved. In her later years, she managed rental properties, including the Eagle’s Nest Lake House, where she enjoyed helping others experience the beauty and tranquility of the lake she called home.
She found joy in fishing, gardening, riding ATVs, crafting, and creating artwork. She proudly participated in local fairs, sharing her handmade creations with her community.
She was a woman of strong convictions, independence, and resilience. Though often private and reserved, those closest to her knew she cared deeply in her own way and found joy in the simple things she loved—family, nature, creativity, and the outdoors.
Her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the people she loved, the adventures she shared with Hal, and the beauty she created through her artwork.
She made a life that reflected
who exactly she was.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
