It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our GIGI, Anna Mae Giannotti (Pool). Anna was born on January 3, 1932, and passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 93 in Chester, CA.
Anna grew up in Oregon on a farm she lived on with her mother and father and her sister Marie. She loved to ride the horses and feed the animals. The family
later moved to Westwood, where her dad had a bread truck and she loved
riding with him, and sometimes driving. Anna attended Westwood High School where she met the love of her life, Kerbie Giannotti. They were married on June 17th, 1950, and to this union, they had two children, Albert and Kathy.
Anna worked for the postal service for 18 years in the Westwood Post Office. She enjoyed coaching Little League with Kerbie for 18 years. She also did the books for her grandchildren for Little League and high school baseball and
softball. She loved to bowl and was in many leagues around the Almanor basin and even taught Jr. bowling. Anna loved to play cribbage, cook, garden, gamble and hunt for arrow heads. She had a very full and fun life.
Anna is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kerbie, her sister Marie and her son-in-law Ray. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Craig, her granddaughter Danielle Alexander (Robbie), great-grandson Cooper, her grandson Brian Craig (Bekah), great-granddaughters Aubrielle and Alexa, her son Albert Giannotti (MaryAnn), grandson Paul Giannotti (Amy) great- granddaughters Allison and Maren and grandson Tony Giannotti.
